Thats why I didn't mind paying the money, looks amazing wouldn't change it for anything else.

I have a video on YouTube if you look in my signature. Video is POOR but you get the idea haha. Must upgrade that video... plants look much 'bushyer' and fill more of the tank now lol.

Little help needed, my PH was sitting at 7 has been for well ever, but now it is sitting at 6 is this something to be worried about?

changed anything recently? added anything to the tank (bogwood, rock)?? The lower PH will be better for the fish you have though :good:.. Just need to find out why its dropped

Cheers for the reply Malawi, the last thing to be added was the anubias that's sitting in the back of the tank. Will this cause the PH to drop?

No worries, that shouldn't contribute to the PH dropping no. With the tank been up and running for 4 months and all of a sudden its dropped, its kinda confusing if all you've added recently is the anubias. Is it attached to any wood? as ive seen these before with roots wrapped round a piece of bogwood which would lower the PH slightly.

Sorry mate yes forgot to say it is attached to wood, forgot to mention that. Just seems a big drop from 7 to 6 or maybe not?

Ahh i thought so :good: Dont worry about it, just thought it could of been as ive seen it done with anubias a fair bit. That's my thoughts as well it is quite a drop, but the bogwood could hold a good amount of tannin which is slowly releasing into the tank. How long has it been in there??

The wood/Anubias has been there 5 days. There seems to be no affect on the fish everything seems normal, I was just a bit concerned.

Has the water got a slight brown tinge to it? I wouldn't worry to much mate, i think its the wood that's lowered the PH. Your fish will probably appreciate a slightly lower PH as well, but everything seems normal so i'd say everything's ok :good:

Water is crystal clear haha, I will just keep an eye out but like you say should be nothing to worry about.

Thanks again mate

Really gutted i did not spot this sooner hope all the fish are going to be ok.

Don't you have to turn the filter off during a water change?

I have white spot in my tank too, darn thing!! 3rd day of treating my tank ATM and all is looking good.

I only noticed a couple of spots in my fishies fins and started treating the day I noticed! Your look plasterd in the horrid stuff, sorry to hear :(

Hope all recovers pal :good:

Good spot schottay i was so stressed about the white spot i never turned that or the heater off untill about 70% water was out.(Don't try this at home kids :good:)  i was so annoyed at myself for not spotting it sooner.

i know my poor fish i feel such a idiot hopefully they pull through it.

glad to hear your treatment is going well.

 I've forgot to turn my heater off once before. Didn't notice it untill I smelt melting plastic and heard some cracking sounds !

Hope they pull through, hate loosing fish to this poxy white spot... so annoying!

To be fair I only noticed mine because my Keyholes were kinda 'changing colour' so I read up about it and found people said if there was a disease in the tank this could be why they are going this 'changing colour' thing. Next thing you know after a close-up I seen a few white spots!
