I posted this in the predator section, but would also like to get an opinion here.

As stated in the title, I have a datnoid that has cloudy eyes, but that is not the main problem. The eyes are clearing from frequent water changes, which is great. The problem is, I'm going out of town for two weeks starting Sunday and I was wondering what things I could do before I go to help clear up the problem. I obviously won't be able to do waterchanges while I'm gone, but is there something I can add to the water to make sure it doesn't get worse when I am unable to do anything about it?

Here is a picture for you all. Thanks in advance!

EDIT: BTW, this picture was taken right when he went into my tank, so that's why the colors are faded and the eyes are looking a bit better now. :)

Cloudy eye is a symtom of a desease not a desease in its own right.
Causes.
Bad water quality.
Old age.
Stress.
Irratation.
Poor diet.
Parasties.
Bacterial.

You maybe could add a bacterial med if you are going away, but you need to increase aeration with the med.

I'm pretty sure I know what caused it, because the guy I bought it from sold it because another datnoid was beating the crap out of it. As I stated in the OP, he is getting better already, so obviously not bacterial, because wouldn't it be getting worse if I haven't been treating for a bacterial infection?

Ok.
Yes stress cause cloudy eye.
Good luck.
