Datnoid Progress

I found some old pictures of when I just got my little datnoid. After searching back into the depths of my old topics, I found that I got him almost exactly a year and a month ago. He's grown quite a lot, but still has a heck of a long way to go.

When I bought him, he was only like 1-2".

This is him now. He's probably around 6-7" now, but I can't be 100% sure.

Sorry for the flash on these pics. I just got a new camera and I'm trying to figure it all out. :)

Thanks for all of the comments guys. He's definitely one of those pride and joy fish. I've got another youngster growing in a seperate tank and another coming from someone on another forum. I can't want to see them all when they are larger in a few years... and in a larger tank, too! :D
 
it looks nice and thats good growth in a year what is it feeding on?
i find some of my indos grow fast and some really slow

Eats pretty much anything really: Sinking Hikari Cichlid Gold, raw shrimp, earthworms, red worms, bloodworms, and ghost shrimp.
