Datnoid Progress

I found some old pictures of when I just got my little datnoid. After searching back into the depths of my old topics, I found that I got him almost exactly a year and a month ago. He's grown quite a lot, but still has a heck of a long way to go.

When I bought him, he was only like 1-2".

This is him now. He's probably around 6-7" now, but I can't be 100% sure.

Sorry for the flash on these pics. I just got a new camera and I'm trying to figure it all out.

Thanks for all of the comments guys. He's definitely one of those pride and joy fish. I've got another youngster growing in a seperate tank and another coming from someone on another forum. I can't want to see them all when they are larger in a few years... and in a larger tank, too!

Eats pretty much anything really: Sinking Hikari Cichlid Gold, raw shrimp, earthworms, red worms, bloodworms, and ghost shrimp.

I just want to let everyone know that I pulled him out of the tank during the last water change and measured him and he is actually only 5.75".
