I have 5 long finned danios in a 20 gal. These guys are really active, constantly chasing each other. At times it seems to be aggression? I'd like to add some rasboras to this cool water tank. Would they be OK with such wild tankmates and room tempature water?

yes.
rasboras and danios are very closely related and do well together

I have recently added Long Finned Loepard and Zebra Danios to my stock and yes they are lively aren't they! All my other fish (check sig.) don't seemed bothered at all by their antics (Even my remaining female Dwarf Gourmis which I thought was on her way out is ok)

The Danios spend most of their time at the upper part of the tank unless they spot sinking food so the Tetras, Harlequines are not bothered in their mid-tank zone.

All of our danios are long finned: 3 gold, 1 zebra, 1 blue. These guys are all over the tank, not just on the top. They are very entertaining. I was just afraid they could terrorize other fish.

I think they are just very lively but not aggresive. I have seen them fuss around my catfish pellets on the bottom but the corys and D-Gouramis bumble over to feed and push the Danios off. There is no sign of bullying from them at all. :good:

Wolf, your danio web site is great. Thanks!

What happens when the the different varieties breed? For example what do you get from a gold and a blue danio?

What happens when the the different varieties breed?

whilst it is possible for Danios to interbreed with other Danios,
you can't get Danios to interbreed with Deavarios, just because both genera have danio as a common name
doesn't mean they will inter breed.

For example what do you get from a gold and a blue danio?

who knows. possibly the golden gene is recessive so you may not get any golden fry at all.
