Danio

I have a zebra danio, fairly sure its female with a swolen belly.

Just noticed, it had a long (about an inch) trail of white 'stuff' coming from its underside!

Is it pregnant? do Danios give birth like this? or is it something worse?

Water paramaters are good, food is flake, normally twice a day (only fed once today)

The fish looks healthy and so do the others.

help!

Do you mean stringy white poo, or strands of cotton like fungus.

stringy white, I now know she aint giving birth, done abit of research

will keep an eye on it. just got in, looks ok now.

10 tetra, 9 danio, 2 gourami 6 cories.

normally feed flake twice a day and 1 tablet a day for the cories

Long stringy white poo can be constipation, bacterial, to internal parasites.
Cook some frozen peas for a few minutes, let cool down, pop out of shell and mush between fingers into small peices and add to the tank.
