Danio Doing Strange Side Flop Up And Down Wiggle

These danios are proving to be very dificult, My 1 with damaged fin is now doing well fins are not clamped still has little bulge in stomach but is acting normally. fin is growing back nicley.

I have now the biggests danio doing a strange thing every now and then it does a strange belly flop sort of dance on its side it goes up down up down up down really quickly for a few seconds then swims off.

Im going to check water stats and then do a water change and siphon out some unused food of the top of gravel.

You've given yourself the answer here Chenise.... I think being a way for a week or so makes one think the fish are starved and then we tend to overfeed for a while when getting back... If there are "some unused food" at the top of the gravel, then you've been overfeeding. One should never feed more than the fish can consume during a single feeding.

Thankyou, my bf was feeding them so at least he remembered lol

The stats were ok i think Ammonis 0, Nitites 0.3, I did a big water change and got rid of the food. couple i think are a bit contispated so im going to give them couple days with out food and them give them some peas. what do you think a good idea.

Yep!... You come up with all of the answers I had in mind... Skip a couple of days, and the peas thing is also recommended.... (in moderation)

Ive done 3 big water changes of 50% two yesteday and 1 today, stats are

Ammonia between 0-0.6
Nitrite 0.1
Nitrate 5

All fish seem sick, if i turn on the lights they go stationary at top of tank just floating with clamped fins, they are not intrested in peas so ive took them out. Lights are out and they are swiming around more, 2 are swimming through the tall hair grass plant and 1 is swimming very close to gravel maybe rubbing him self. 1 danio has a bulge in its belly that gets bigger and then looks smaller next time ive looked. i am my wits end whats wrong with it its the same one thats rubbing on gravel. its also a very white silvery colour when should be gold

Im going to do another water change and clean filters, I hate seeing them sick and im not sure what going wrong.
