Have just seen what after a bit of research on the net seems to be damselfly larvae..

Im thinking this must have come in with new plants from the LFS?

Wil it do any harm to my tank or fish?

Thanks

i don't think that they will.. if your fish is big enough then they'll have a nice snack

It's my small tank, so few guppys, few neons and a load of cherry shrimp, so will they be fine then?

I'd remove it if you have shrimp just in case. The guppies and Neons would be fine but I wouldn't risk the shrimp.

Perhaps net it out and release it in a local pond/stream etc.

Ye I will see if I can net it and I live beside a river so will pop it in there.

Thanks for the replys.
