me being stupid i got a longnose butterfly ..... i mistook it with info from a copperband butterfly .... the longnose needs a 70us gal and the copperband needs a 50us gal which i have, and i thought longnose was liek a copperband only needing the 50gal.


can anyone tell me why when the longnose grows inch bigger then the copperband that it needs more space, im pondering taking it bak but its like an hours drive n i cant drive

Well, the longnose has a longer "nose" that can add alot to it's total length, but I'll bet you knew that.

Either way, no big deal. If the fish does max out (this can take years depending on several conditions), just give it away or sell it.

If you simply got the wrong fish, you still have the opportunity to return it to the store and get what you wanted in the first place. If you hang onto it until it grows to the point that you have to return it, you may not find a home for it. There are a couple of threads in this forum about people having difficulty rehoming fish now that their fish stores have no interest in taking them back.

there take any fish from me and exchange it but tbh i think books r guidelines so im hoping for now it will be coool! thanks for ur concern though, i would be worried if i didnt work there asked today n they said since ur staff u wud be able to

haha good luck!! we had a nice shipment of fish from singapore in and tmc so theres a huge choice, they have 4 like 3/4 cm sailfin tangs in the main tank well sweet lol!!

and now i get discount and all the hot customers that come in .... jelous much


we also do of course all the marine shizzle skimmers, powerheads n what not, salt RO etc, tropical, coldwater, fluffy pets, its like a supermarket as well and gift store n plant place all rolled into one, shame i dont get much discount of the hotubs reli though
