First time i have had trouble with it but it seems my baby bn plecs can get into it via the little gap between the outlet, wouldnt be a problem as they can easily get in and out and they are quite safe insidem but the filter keeps stopping and starting, checked it all nothing obstructing and no trapped plecs eventually got it working again but the plecs are still inside the casing i would rather they were not in there at all but cant get them out once in unless they come out on their own accord
, im missing loads of the little guys and at a guess they have made a home in the darkness of the casing.

Seriously debating removing all the internals and just having it as a plec home anyone think this would be a good idea they seem to love it insidie it

Sounds like a great idea so long as you have alternative adequate filtration.

Also, don't feed them in the box or they'll never have any reason to come out!

I had the same thing and just stuffed a bit of filter floss around the outlet to block the gap. Takes about 5 seconds to do!! :good:
