ok i get home today after i had planted some new plants in my shrimp tank and replaced the old heater. the shrimp tank is joined onto my krib tank so they both get the same heating source, anyway i come home to see about 20 little carrots on the floor, im thinking wth are they! so i pull one out to have a better look at it only to find out its a dead cherry shrimp,
so far ive found about 15 of them =[ now this could be because of 2 things
1) the temp had gone all the way up to 31 degress or
2) the new plants had some kind of snail be gone on them, worst thing is i still have a tank full of snails just no shrimp left.
none of these should realy haved killed the shrimp and nothing else thats what i dont understand!
on the bright side the new plants or higher temp made my kribs spawn.
so i guess ill wait a while and try to srouce some new shrimp! last time they where so hard to find DAMMIT.
adn no i didnt dip the plants in a bleach solution before i put them in the tank. they were rinsed tho.
