If you are looking for a dalmatian molly, they are probably the most common ones in a LFS in the US. The blacks, creamsicles and even the natural greens are much less common here. The last time I wanted to just get a few mollies for a tank, I ended up with dalmatians because it was all the had. If you isolate your females to a separate tank where they can drop fry unmolested, you should end up with quite a few new fry, unless the females were very young when you bought them. It could turn out looking like this tank.

 i like those mollys. are they salfin mollies? (They cost £3.25 each down my area!)

And

UK.

I've searched everywhere.

the mollies i brought where already pregant. and dropped fry but i dident have a trap at the time and they got eaten..

The tank label called her a sailfin but that is poetic license in my mind. A real sailfin is much bigger than her 2 1/2 inches and has a much bigger dorsal fin. Have a look here for a real sailfin molly. http://diszhal.info/halak/Poecilia_velifera3.jpg

The link goes to a picture of a real sailfin molly. You never seem to find one in a store and they can even be hard to find from hobbyists who keep wild type fish. The pitiful example that they called a sailfin at the LFS when I bought her was only a marketing scheme, not an attempt to be accurate. She was a hybrid bred to have a decent dorsal fin, a semi-lyretail and the creamsicle color. There is no such fish in the wild. I am guessing that she may have a trace of P latipinna in her along with tons of P shenops and maybe some minor traces of other small poecilia. The P latipinna and P velifera both have nice big sailfins like in that remote picture that I found with a Google. The P shenops is often a good source of more diverse genetic material but has very short fins and needs to be crossed with other molly species to get anything fancy looking. I generally prefer the wilds myself but she just appealed to me when I first spotted her.

Wow...

I Dont get why people would cross breed them..

i think my mollie may be crossed wih a sailfin mollie..

I see a lot of Dalmatian Mollies round my way (I'm in London) but I'm never really looking for them as I like the rarer species. If I was going to keep a Molly it would be this one:
http://www.fishbase.org/Photos/PicturesSummary.php?ID=61810&what=species
(that's a wild Poecilia kykesis)

As for the OP's question. To be honest I'd sort out the stocking of your tank before you get more fish. Just because YOU want more fish doesn't mean the tank can handle it! I'd rehome the potential-monster Pleco first - you'll never be able to get rid of it when it's big!
