It is ok and normal. They will settle down and if it is a pair they will spawn soon

With 3, you may run into trouble... If you have 2m, 1 f, the 2 males could harrass the female. If you have 2f and 1m, the male and female could pair up and harass the other female. If you can tell that you have at least one male and one female, I *personally* would take the other fish back to the fish store or would be ready to at the first sign that there's something more serious going on than just squabbles.

im not really bothered if they spawn, i mainly just want them to get along i also think they maybe all males.
But i just wanted to make sure them antagonising eacother wasnt anything serious.

But i suppose they are cichlids.

Kinda good news on this one, 2 of them i do beleive are beggining to swin around together and only a bit of nipping at eachother so i think i might have my pair, if it continues in a good way, the left out one will be taken back to the shop.

yes the czech republic is a breeding ground for cichlids in fact if I remember right I belive that cichlidscenes famous barred midas came from there, could be wrong though would have to go and reread his story.

there is also Singapore bred Rams,
they're very dull in colour though

I took 2 of them back to the store today and i brought a female so they hopefully should get along.
