I dont know if these are just the same as bolivian and german rams but i see these guys in my lfs today and i loved them so i brought 3, and just wanted to know if they are the same or not?

i havnt got a pic yet.

Until we get a pic we cant really help.

Rams prefer to be in pairs so i would take one back soon or are you waiting for a pair to form?

Well i cant get to my lfs for a few days now as im working but when i get the chance maybe or il just add another.

They colour is white/pearl with black stripes and neon dots on the fins and tail?

Blue rams and Bolivian rams are different species entirely. Blue rams are Microgeophagus ramirezi and Bolivians are Microgeophagus altispinosa.

I did a google and a google image search for Czech Rams, but couldn't find anything - did you catch their latin name?

Nah it want on the tank, they look just like the 1st ones but they are not blue.

or gold version of the ram in the 1st pic.

Blue rams aren't really BLUE. Their back half is more creamy/silvery colored but has blue specks that show up when the light hits them right.

Yep its a spitting image of them guys, also now u say they are best in pairs i dunno if its coz they only been in the tank a day but they have split up and whenever they come near one another they have a little tussle, so there are no partnerships (let alone freindships) forming here.

Any ideas?

i belive form a bit of research the the czech republic is a very good arae for breeding rasm, maybe there indeed blue rams breed in czech republic

Yes I think so too. And from what I know of the czech they are smilar to germans in quality.

Ok, so if they're blue rams, they'll be pretty easy to sex.

Males - the first spines on the dorsal fin will be longer. The back end of the dorsal fin will also be pointed and longer.

Females - the back end of the dorsal fin will be more rounded. They also have a pinkish tinge to their belly. Comparitively, the rear fin on the bottom (forgot the name) is going to be smaller.

ok cheers for that guys, but it just seems none of them like eachother right now.
