Some advice needed.

I am upgrading our tank and due to the nature of our recent house move i am considering purchasing a Cylinder Fish tank, either from Aqua tech or from All Pond Solution.

I want to plant my tank, as i have all CO2 equipment from my previous tank, but will the lighting provided from these tanks be enough?

The Tank from both site is HEIGHT 58.3" X 23.6" DIAMETER
WATER CAPACITY = 268 LITRES

However the difference between Aqua tech and All pond solutions tank is that Aqua tech LIGHTING CONSISTS OF 3 X T5 LIGHT TUBES, whilst the all pond solutions comes with AD-320 LED Lighting System (18 x White LEDs. 6 x blue LEDs).

Has anyone got any experience with each of these set-ups and cylinder tanks in general?

Thanks

You are going to loose a lot of light before it reaches the bottom of the tank.  You probably will want at least 2 and maybe 3 times the light you had in your old tank.

Hi Steve, thanks for the reply. I dont plan to use the lighting from my old tank, just the CO2 equipment. I need guidance on the LED lights v t5 light tube. Any advice is welcome.
