Hey everyone!

Im currentely cycling my 29 gallon! I was wondering, once my ammonia levels have dropped from 5ppm to 0 in 12 or less hours do I keep adding ammonia until the nitrites go down? I wanted to know this because I wanted to make sre because im going away in a week on wednesday and need to tell my mum what to do!

Thanks, orange shark

Oh yes most definatly! And those nitrItes do have to go right down to zero too. It will take much longer for that to happen than for the ammonia drop to zero so be prepared :good:

Definitely keep adding ammonia every time it drops so that the bacteria you have are getting food.
