Hi,
I've just set up a new Juwel Rio 125 aquarium. Trying to find out when it's safe to add fish but am getting conflicting advice. Some say add a few danios after a week and monotor ammonaia/nitrite carefully whilst others say go for fishless cycling for a month by adding fish food daily or neat ammonia. I'm now confused and would appreciate some advice. Thanks.

Fishless is the way to go. The add and wait method is the one I prefer. Fishless cycling is easiest done with liquid ammonia (9.5%.) Not just any ammonia, it has to be free of dyes, scents, and surfectants (soaps.) It can go as fast as 4 weeks but 6 is not uncommon. Too many factors to predict exactly how you are progressing.
