Cycling a mbuna tank

Hi everyone, I heard that Bumblebee cichlids are good to cycle a tank with but i can't get them at any shop around here. What others would be ok? I thought maybe some yellow labs?

need a much hardier fish to cycle a tank. imo, cycling with fish is just cruel to the fish as it adds stress and can cause fish loss. better to go with a fishless cycle and jumpstart the cycle with adding ammonia. even with using fish, the ammonia cycle is about the same amount of time.

Cycling with fish in a tank with a pH above 8 (which your mbuna tank should be) is a pretty bad idea.

Ammonia is increasingly toxic to fish as the pH rises. At a pH of 8.5, even ammonia levels of .1 ppm can be extremely dangerous to fish.

Looks like you have a fully cycled tank already, so why not move some of the media over to the new tank instead?
