Cycle order??

I'm about to start to filter my 32gal tank. I'm going to be adding live plants to it later, so should I add them before or after i cycle the tank??

also, i have two 20w lights. they are both hagen flourescent lights, one is the flora glo (2800K spectrum) and the other the power glo (18 000K spectrum). What kind of lighting is this (low, med, high??).

I add my plants before i start the cycle. It gives them time to root without any competition from fish and all the gadgets we poke in the tank. Your lighting would be classified as low at about 1.25 watts per gallon. If you have polished reflectors it would be more than that but would still be in the low range. Usually below 2 watts per gallon is Low, 2-3 Med and 3+ is High HTH
