Current USA make some great lights and are an excellent fixture.

I have the 4x96W and I absolutely love them. I would recommend them to anyone that doesn't want to spend money for metal halides and a chiller.

The fans are quiet but not silent. There is some noise involved, but they are easily put on the same time as the atnics. I am happy with my fixture however after a couple of years one of the swiches became unground. I learned this with my other hand in the tank. It was a shocking experience. Now it's hooked to a timer and I don't touch the switch.

They are nice lights for PC's. You might also want to look at the T5's from nova extreme. There like $50 more, but it's a far better light output. My 156w T5 completely outshines the other 192W of PC's.

Good Luck.

Also, if you're a US resident, make sure to look for a fixture with square-pin bulbs as its a lot easier to find replacements for them, while only a handful of vendors carry straight. Current USA uses square pin.

Are the Coralife Aqualight PC fixtures good? I found one locally at a decent price.

Yup, them and current usa are pretty well regarded, as are JBJ fixtures as far as retail PCs go.

Its a very nice light for an affordable price. The corals in my tank love the lights and it makes the tank look much bright. The lights are great for economy minded hobbyists and have never given me problems. dave
