Cthmpk - What's Involved?

Hey, sorry if your real busy at the moment or something i just needed to know what would be involved to create a CTHMPK lol and a realistic time period until i could get it? I'm starting from the HM pair i have in another thread here

Easiest would be HMPK and CT to start with, I'll get back to you if I can be stuffed to work the rest out. But you'd need probably around 3 generations.

Meh, im trying to bring the gold colour out of my HM spawn... the best gold male/female will be picked and bred again. Then a PK will be thrown into the mix and go for HMPK then chuck in a CT to the genepool. Doing this creates the CTHMPK but also puts new blood in every 2 generations i think

Ok so HMPK is out of the topic .... use a traditional PK

Will do Guppy Mommy, will be so rewarding if i manage to do it. But finding another to introduce new blood would be hard unless i import from asia. Which i may do one day. OR i could cross back to the mum/dad of the spawn (if you know what i mean lol)

Cracker: i have to start with this pair, as i have no others. I sold to make room in my bedroom for my gecko, But now i have room downstairs where my 3 footer was for a breeding tank etc. Unless find a perfect gold PK in my lfs lol

Yes guppy mommy that's what im going to do. But im getting the base colours from this HM pair, then ill introduce a PK to create HMPK which i may be able to sell some fry. Then ill get a CT to add to the gene pool to create CTHMPK

Ok then choose the shortest tail and breed it to your CT then F2 F3 F4 F5 blah blah ....

Remember you can get some retarded fish on your first breeding.
