Crystal Red Shrimp

One of my Lfs had some crystal red shrimp in, never seen them in an Lfs before so I had to get them.
They only had 2 left or I'd have got more
Will they interbreed with cherries?
Currently they're on their own, but I'm trying to downsize my tanks, so if they can go in with the cherries, that would be great

no they won't interbreed with cherries.

I went to get some red cherry shrimp from my lfs today and they had those one's too, they wanted £18.00 each for them!!! lol.

I thought it was way too expensive, but when I queried the price I was told that's the price the manager wanted. Needless to say they haven't sold many

That's just greedy.
They'd be cheaper to buy online, even with the shipping cost

Went back to the Lfs today as I had to take some guppy babies in.
As usual had to have a look in all the tanks, & in the shrimp tank spotted a couple more crystal reds.
In the end I came away with 4 more, so now I have 6.
The new ones don't seem quite as red, maybe just the stress of the move
