I'd go for cherry shrimp, they are a good beginners shrimp. CRS can be pricey.

just searched the internet and cherry shrimp do seem more appealing now i have seen the price and success rate of crs.......

This would of been more appropriate in the inverts section further down the forum also your request needs to be in the wanted section . Pippoodle, jmclark and drewry are the main suppliers of RCS to people on the forums but drewry doesn't send less then 50 normally and he recently said a shipment would be his last one for a while so he may not have any stock to send.

CRS are bred by pippoodle I believe so she may have some stock to send you and this store has some S grade at a good price. CRS are highly sensitive to water quality due to inbreeding to get their colouration. They are a colour morph of Bee shrimp and are the same species as Bee shrimp, CBS, Golden bee shrimp, blue bee shrimp and white bee shrimp so should not be kept in the same tank due to cross-breeding. There is also a chance they will hybridise with any other cardina species. They can be kept at room temp although a heater should be used if tank temp drops below 13C and they stop breeding at below 18C. Bumblebee shrimp are a completely different species to bee shrimp but it is a common mistake to get the two confused they are bothe cardina so hybridisation may occur.

Hi, i am just outside of leicester in broughton astley. but dont mind travelling to leicester to collect as i work near beaumont leys and could possibly collect on my way home if poss....

dont really know beaumont leys that well i only know the industrial estate i work on (bursom)
