Crystal Clear Water

hello, I have a 75 gallon aquarium with only 6 fish and a undergravel and hanging filter. My tank is not crystal clear and I dont know what to do. My emperor filter is getting these particles in my tank and I dont know how to solve it. Please help.

You can use fine floss and Active Carbon to polish and remove containments from your water column, the Carbon will need replacing every few days however.

I'd say neither of the types of filter you have are probably efficient enough for your tank.

Undergravels do tend to trap lots of 'bits', unless they're reverse flow, and the hang on ones (well, the ones I've seen anyway) don't seem to have much of the 'oomph' you need for larger tanks.

Can I ask how long this tank's been set up and what kind of fish (and how big they are)?

You might need to think about upgrading to an external canister filter (or two).

Have a look at seachem purigen it polishes the water I wouldnt be with out it

I have 3 dinosaur birchirs about 8 in., A asian gar 10 in., pleco and angelfish 6 in.

the tank has been setup for about 8 months

Filter floss got rid of all my little particles and left mine crystal clear.
