After a couple months of trying to fight off a danio "mystery illness" with 2 ich treatments and anti-bacterial treatments, we had green chemical soup in our tank. After a few water changes, it was still milky looking, probably from losing some of the cycling to the antibiotics. Even after all this, all but one danio died.
But thanks to back to back water changes over two days, including taking out all plants and decorations and gravel vacing every inch of the tank, we suddenly have beautiful, crystal clear water.
I wanted to share this because for months I've been desparately asking panicked questions so I thought it was about time I shared something good, and thanked all my great helpers on the this forum for your great advice.
