I have a Cryptocoryne Petchii and it was doing really well, it got huge and was fine for about a month, and then it just melted.

So I pruned it back really well and there was quite a lot of new growth and it was doing well again, but then it melted.

It seems to get to a certain size and then melt.

Tank:
30gal
2 WPG
C02
Nutrafin Plant Gro Liquid Fert.

How can I stop it from melting?

hows the substrate? with my amazon it gets big then dies back because not enough nutrients in the gravel

Yeah Crypts are big root feeders, so they like lots of nutrients in the substrate. If you're using a plain sand/gravel, then you might need to add root tabs. Another thing that melts them can be a change in pH, such as moving from tank to tank. If it's stable, they Crypts should settle and regrow new leaves.
