hi there all

I got some pure guppies the other day and i want to keep them pure here's a list of the fish i'm wanting to add can someone tell me which ones NOT to get .
I'm sure endlers and swordtails are no good just checking :)

platys
endlers
swordtails
mollies

If you are trying to keep a pure line of guppies, keep the endlers away from their tank. I wouldn't keep them in the same room because things can happen when you are moving plants and such around and they could be inadvertently mixed.

i don't really like mollies, the guppys will hybridize with endlers and platys can be a little... uh.
all of you choices are good, but i would recomend only getting 1 type.

its all for the kids at the moment see and they want a nice friendly tank - they are 3 and 5 lol

You can keep platies as they will not cross breed, but as u already know endlers are defo an no no.

Swords are ok just dont keep many males though as they can get very nippy when fighting.

Mollies, guppies can breed with them but viable fry are relative rare, and even when they do the fry tend to die early.
If you have a male molly the females will not use the guppy sperm either thus reducing the risk of this happening.
