Crocodile Fish

saw one of these today at my LFS and it was pretty small

are these able to be kept in tanks?

i did a little search and have found nothing about them being kept in captivity and was wondering if any of you guys had come across them

oo i have seen them before just never really learnt about them!! probably need a biig tank but its very unique and cool.

it likes wrasses im happy

i was ready to buy a new tank to house it if it was freshwater

thats about a foot long.... Still i wouldnt get it, leave it for the professionals.

I was also interested in these fish at one point, though I decided not to get one in the end because I found so little information on them. It is probably safe to say that they are comparable to frogfish in habits. Assuming this was true, a good minimum tank size would be about 50 gallons.

That fish is well cool but not for the faint harted I wouldnt of thought there may well be a very good reson there not commonly kept in aquariums and thats why theres not much info on people keeping them but much thanx for the link to let us have a look cheers
