hey guys,
i recently picked up a jd and an oscar and was wondering if it would be good for them to have crickets once and a while? i have a bearded dragon so i always have them around and it got me thinking about it. i looked in the feeding section in their respective profiles and it didnt mention anything in the jd one at least.

if crickets are a good snack, would mealworms, superworm, etc. also be good?

I fed my new world cichlids crickets time to time. I have never tried mealworms and what not, but you could give it a try. Mine would eat earthworms as well.

I fed my oscar's mealworm's both dried and fresh/worm's/woodlice/spider's yes cricket's and any types of bug's as long as there not poisionus should be fine, my ornate snakeheads solely at mealworms for ages, now they eat chopped prawn's/dried bloodworm's/silverside's and a whole host of creepy crawlies :shout:
