I got my Crescent Goodeids today!!! I thought I made it more clear I just wanted a pair and just basic not so rare ones....I walk into the store walk around as they're very easy going ppl and find my bag laid out and it's freakin' huge and filled with water and fish...my jaw drops as I count 10 fish!!! Here's the description that Mr. Langhammer put on it for me:
Crescent Goodeid - Zoogoneticus tequila
One of the showiest goodeids, this species was named in 19988 following its discovery in the early 90's. It is larger and more colorful than Z. quitzeoensis. Males have bordered fins -creamy yellow on the dorsal and anal, and orange-red on the caudal fin. Peaceful and easy to maintain, it should be a high priority for species maintenance since it is believed to be extinct in the wild.
Ok so now I feel the pressure....*must breed* *must breed* *must keep alive*
(this is a pair that i managed to catch together male is on top, female is the one picking at food at the bottom
This is one of the darker males
ok so usually when i take pics my platys swim away in terror, well this female swam right up to the glass...isn't she cute
sunset wagtail platy and my blue platy with my golden killi (sorry but i luv them too

) and it's hard for me to get clear platy pics
By the way, they are fine with the platys and love to hide in the plants and caves...
