i have a 20 gallon freshwater tank with scuds, hydra, nematodes, and a bryozoa colony i got all this from my local creek and would like to keep every one alive any suggestions?

Feeding presents a challenge, but is doable. Some are filter feeders. Those are the most challenging to feed. They prefer green water, but that is hard to do in a home tank. Super finely pulverized fish food, or even better yet, liquid fry food, would be an acceptable substitute. I would squeeze a little right in front of the bryozoa. The trouble is not putting so much in that it fouls the water, while still getting enough food to them. A hard boiled egg yolk, baked for a couple of hours at 200F makes a good powdered protein supplement. The Hydra are predators, they like Daphnia and Cyclops, which you should be able to find in the stiller waters of the same creek. Scuds are mainly vegetarian, but they will go for animal matter as well. They are basically clean up scavengers. The Scuds should eat the egg yolk as well. I suggest you collect some rocks from the creek with algae growing on them, a bit of moss, and some aquatic plants. All of these will provide food for your inverts. Try to find some long strands of algae. You will probably find more inverts in there as well. Good luck! Sounds like a cool project.
