Creating A Larger Breeding Tank For Growing Guppies

He's between to big for breeding tank but too small to be let free into my 3ft tank(Parents will prob nip him).

So im thinking of creating a bigger floating tank out of some kind of plastic tub (Necterine punnet) or something similar.
I can then perhaps float it with some bubble wrap or small air filled bags or something similar.

Anyone done this before?
Any good ideas as what to use?
any potential risks?

I'll soon have way to many guppy babies, i hope my LFS will buy them at 50p a fish or something.

usually you have to resort to paying others to take them off your hands (unless you luck in to some males with stunning tails or such!)

In a 3ft tank I think he'd have plenty of cover and what not to keep away from the parents.
