My three-spot gourami has started chasing his own tail. I know it sounds crazy, but he's ripping it to shreds. Has anyone else seen this behaviour? I was wondering if it's a stress thing?
He's always been aggressive, so we moved him from the community tank into his own 60L tank about 4 or 5 months ago. And added some khuli loaches and some platies.
The gourami's been fine until now, and he's not interested in chasing the other fish around. Sometimes he flares up at his reflection in the glass, but yesterday I saw him spinning round in circles, chasing his tail! And today it's ripped.
Any advice?
