Crayfish Gone! Rip

sadly my Crayfish died, its something that seems to happen quite a bit, its upsetting but thats the way it goes. she died trying to moult, when i took here out she was very heavy. my guess is she had waited too long to moult and couldnt get out the old shell.

well i have two, bred by a friend, on their way in a couple of months. they will need their own tank till they mature, so i decided to get a couple of fish. i popped down to PetCity Leicester, and got 2 silver dollars , a bronze and albino cory plus a couple of kuhli loaches. the loaches have not been seen since they went into the tank. but the other 4 are seen quite a bit.

the 2 dollars, only about 2cm in size.

the 2 corys meet the acara,

i forgot how small cory were, the adult albino is only 3cm now!

and all 4 together, lol the extra dollars are just reflections

only 3 cory here, the bronze is still a little shy. the pepper is a monster at close to 5cm!!

well it sad she has gone. but it did give me chance to change the tank around, done after these pictures. the thing about the new pair of Cray is, that i know exactly how they have been kept before i get them, giving me every chance to introduce them to a community!
