if u have a small crack in the tank if u get aquarium sealant would that fix it?

Ye it would, Empty the tank completely and scrap out all the old silicone its really important you get it all out as any left over will cause the new silicone not to seal properly. Clean it really good then seal it back up and leave it for a couple of days to dry, Then test it out side by leaving it full of water for a couple more days.

Depending where the crack is in the tank, you can seal it from the outside instead... I have heard this works but i've never seen pictures of it.
