cracked 10 gallon

i found a 10 gallon tank that is cracked like 3 inches from the top. i was planning this to make this a breeding tank, since you dont need the tank to be full. is there any crabs, not from supermarket crayfish, newt, etc. that can live in here without a heater and substrate? oh yeah, i dont like frogs that can come out of the water

Fiddler crabs are good. They are SUPPOSED to have access to the surface. They are also really fun to watch...
