Crabs?

saw these great looking lil crabs once in a lfs and they were kept in a tank with the warter filled to the top so i figured they didn't need acsess to dry areas. then the other day saw same crabs in a different shop in a tank half full with rocks they were sitting on. confused now im guessing the first place had a rong set up? they were them little black crabs with red claws. anyone tell me more about these and how they should be kept.

The second shop you saw them at was correct.

They need half water and half land. They should be kept in partly brackish water with a salt concentration around 1.005 ppt

They eat all sorts, bits of vegetable matter and crustacean pellets would probably be a good start as diet goes.

The tank will also need a lid as the air needs to be kept humid.

Edit: If you google 'red thai crabs' or 'red claw crab' you should get some info on them.
