saw these great looking lil crabs once in a lfs and they were kept in a tank with the warter filled to the top so i figured they didn't need acsess to dry areas. then the other day saw same crabs in a different shop in a tank half full with rocks they were sitting on. confused now im guessing the first place had a rong set up? they were them little black crabs with red claws. anyone tell me more about these and how they should be kept. :)

The second shop you saw them at was correct.

They need half water and half land. They should be kept in partly brackish water with a salt concentration around 1.005 ppt

They eat all sorts, bits of vegetable matter and crustacean pellets would probably be a good start as diet goes.

The tank will also need a lid as the air needs to be kept humid.

Edit: If you google 'red thai crabs' or 'red claw crab' you should get some info on them.
