Couple Of Questions

I have just been offered some Japonica Shrimp, SAE's and corysdoras.

Will the SAE be ok in my community tank ?

My current stock is as follows, 17 Copper Harlequins, 11 Five Banded Barbs, 5 Peppered Cory, 5 German Blue Rams, 6 Hillstream Loaches, 1 Molly, 3 Cardinal Tetras, 3 Platinum Tetras, 3 Glowlight Tetras, 3 Zebra Snails, 4 Assassin Snails

SAE will be fine mate, i got a couple, i should really get a few more as they are schooling fish. Mine hang out with one another 24/7, they about 5 inches now too!

You might need to confirm its an SAE 100% though because if its a Chinese Algae Eater, then it might be quite a git to other fishies.

Cheers Tizer, i am tempted in the 3 SAE and 8 Sterbai. Im terrible with stocking levels will i be ok adding them ?

The peppered corys prefer a lower temp and the sterbais a much higher, although, that said, i keep my tank at 25 and mine seem happy enough. My Sterbais have spawned a couple of times now and im sure the peppered would if they had a female I would say you were fine to stock them, you got a decent filter and circulation so from that POV i would say crack on. you can always post me the 8 Sterbai if you think its too much ;D

Hehe, i will mull this over. I definately want the SAE and shrimp just undecided on the Sterbai.

He has loads to get rid off as he is going home. Plants, Fish, Rocks, Soil, loads loads loads. He needs rid so i may come home with a boot full & possibly some freebies

I am going round tomorrow straight after work as he lives 5 minutes from where the work building.
