Ok guys this is kind of a long question so please bear with me. I recently ordered a wendtii crypt red, dwarf sag, and java moss, along with some Natural Advantage Rootgrow Tabs for my 10 gallon aquarium. Now I placed a few tabs in the gravel near the plants and one underneath the java moss as I attached it to some wood. I also add a cap full Plant Gro Iron Enriched Liquid Fertilizer. Recently, the java fern has been turning brown, and one of the crypt leaves seems to be dissintigrating slowly (crypt rot?) I also noticed that my sag has been producing runners I think. I was just wondering if anybody could give me some advice on these issues. Thanks a lot! :good:

Hi there!
Im not sure the tablets are so much of a problem, If they are well under the gravel, they should just slowly do there job there. (the one under the wood probably wont do much though), but the fact that your plants are "disintegrating" makes me think more about other parameters... How much light do you have? In a low light tank anything demanding alot of light will just slowly die and rot.

Cryptocorynes are renowned for melting when you first plant them. Given time, they should bounce back.

Ok I got ya. Well my pH is about 7, my temperature range is about 24-26 C or 75-79 F. I'm also using a 15W aqua-glo fluorescent bulb, and I leave it on for about 10 hours a day.
