First, a friend of mine has moved house so asked me if i wanted all his fish because he wasnt gonna set the tank up in his temp lodgings.
So couple mondays ago i went and caught all his fish and took them home.
He set about draining the tank. Went round there on the sunday (so tanks been unheated/filtered for nearly a week with just half inch of water) to help him take tanks to storage. Scooped out the remaining water so was just some sludgy mud left in bottom. As we lifted tank on side to lift in van i see some thing in water. On closer inspection it turns out to be a bloody Kuli loach.
Caught him and put him in pot and happyly its still alive and well in my 3ft live bearer tank with the other Kuli he was originaly with :)

Second, I used to have a very pretty Killi fish that strangley dissapered over 2 months ago. Well today i found it alive and well (although a little pale looking) inside of the filter box. (Juwel)
I feel really bad for the poor sod, been living last few months in a 6 x 6 ish size dark box. :-( Poor guy
But alls good now, so im gonna spoil it now to make up for being so bad and not finding him.

Poor kili, how did he survive water changes? i know when I do em, it stirrs up alot of depris, that settles down, and gets sucked up by the filter.
Cool story.

I had a pair of rosy barbs, but eventually they died. I retrieved both their bodies from the tank. Later, I found a small rosy in the UG filter pipe! He must have eaten all his siblings to survive under there. Poor guys, stuck in pitch blackness for the first 3 months of their life!
