I have only a 40 watt T 8 fixture on here, the 2 other 56 watt T5's are off for my evening siesta period.

A siesta is basically turning all or one or more of you lighting units off during the "middle" of the day, some think it may help combat algae.
I have all my lighting units on timers and the last one to shut off is at approx 9 pm, while the other two shut off at 7 and 8pm.
Thus you get a sunset type of effect within the tank, or seista
In the morning the lights come on 1 hour apart as well.
si·es·ta-Pronunciation-[see-es-tuh]
a midday or afternoon rest or nap, esp. as taken in Spain and Latin America.

my girl friend just saw your tank now shes nagging me to set up the sunset/sunrise effect on hers
lovely looking tank though.
LOL
If you have two sets of lights and a couple of timers it's pretty easy.
Yea, that would be neat.
I've got moonlights for the tank, just havent set them up yet.
