Depending on the type of gourami and gender mix (a trio, male and two females, is generally suggested for dwarfs, which would go best with guppies), yes.

The pleco would be the catch: What kind? Most species get immense, and would require a very large tank with very good filtration. A bristlenose or other small plec should be ok, but even so, they are messy fish.

I was assuming "red cherry shrimp" since that's what I saw first searching the forum.

That does raise the question, since I could have assumed wrong.

yeah RCS is not a common anacronym as far as I know, can you explain what you mean?
