Could It Be Pop Eye?

looked at my molly this morning and her eyes were quite swollen? could this be pop eye? she was on the bottom of the tank not doing a lot. the few websites I've been on this morning i have read a mix of peples thought on pop eye,if it is pop eye. one things says the fish will normally recover and another one said when it gets this far it's too late? can any one give me any advice on this?

Sounds like pop eye....but that shouldnt make her sit on the bottom of the tank.
Is it moving around at all ? Sounds like it could be swim bladder too. If thats the case, boil some frozen peas for a minute, then pop the two little halves out the pea , squash them in your fingers and add them to the tank, try to get them near the injured fish.

treat with an internal antibacterial medication for the pop eye, but normally because it cant get to the infection it doesnt always work. Try it though.

yeah will pop some peas in there later, if she's still with us. she was swimming ok last night, she did have a few very crazy moments where she was all over the place and moving at speed, like she was on drugs but that only lasted a few seconds then she was back to normal?

Well peas will NOT do them any harm at all....
The sooner you start with the medications the better really.

have fed peas to them before, it went down well. my corys love em, but she will have a go at any thing normally? must admit i wont be getting any more molly's after she has gone, been bit of a pain for me from the start. (not like i'm going to get rid or not look after her cos i will, still my 'pet' and it is my job to keep all my animals heathly)

I like mollys and plattys, its just their breeding habbits that get me !!! I dont want hundreds of critters all over my tank

My molly looked like that then in about a day white spot started appearing
