If not then could i keep 1 honey male gourami with my 1 male dwarf and 2 female dwarf? Thanks in advance
The males are usually quite aggressive, so it is best to keep only one male per tank of most gourami species. Thanks ,just wondered can i keep 2 dwarf gourami with 2 female?
From personal experience, I would pass on the guppies then.Hi ,Kitty Kats ,my tank size is 110l ,when my tank is fully stocked ,i intend to have 1 male gourami ,2 females,3 albino corries ,3 bronze ,2 pitbull plecos,2,glowlight tetras,6 green fire tetras, 3 male guppies ,amano shrimp.
I haven`t got any guppies at present though.
+1, I would get those schools up in numbers. It's not a lot of fish, but it is rather a lot of species. I don't know what you already have, but if it was my tank, I would try to do the following, for the benefit of the fish:Seems like a lot of fish for that size tank. Also, cories should be kept in shoals of 6 or more per species. Same with tetras.![]()
No, they would not shoal together, and you should get to at least 6 glowlights or swap the 2 you already have for the fire tetra (which I still can't figure out what are - are they green neons?). At any rate, you should definitely ID the tetras before you buy them, and do some research on them.really want green fire tetra ,they`re absolutely beautiful, saw them in pets at home, they grow up to 4cm Could i have 6 of each [glowlight and green fire tetras ,and would they shoal together?
I do not believe in the number methods because they are quite inaccurate. My advice is make fish in your tank happy, then go by their behaviour, when adding more stock, and the water readings (up to a point) and don't crowd the fish too much.Have added what you said i could stock, and they add up to 141cm ,standby setting says i could only have 1o2 cm of fish?
