I've 4 different plants in my tank (2 of each).
I believe I have vallisneria spiralis but have no clue what the others are.

The one with the red underside to the leaves closes up at night - all the leaves point upwards just like when a flower closes it's petals.

These are from the top of my head so maybe wrong:

The one far left and in the centre is Bacopa Monnieri

The red one looks like Alternanthera Reineckii although it could be a particularly red form of Ludwigia Repens

Vallisineria Spiralis as you thought

and I think the other is Indian Fern

I have the plant with red under the leaves. It was an extra sent in with an order. Seller told me it was Bacopa Carolina.

How did you end of plants that you don't know the name of?

Because, rightly or wrongly, I asked the guy in the LFS for 3-4 plants that would be suitable for a community tank  None of the plants in the LFS are named, they're sold as "bunched plants" and have a small weight in the base.

The left handed red under leaves plant is red ludwigia as someone already pointed out. i have many in my tank. the center plants are wisteria spp....i also have many of these.
