Hi guys! My water is looking a little cloudy tonight and the only change to my tank has been to start adding Flourish Excel and increase my dosage of TPN+. Could there be a link? I do have staghorn algae so maybe it's starting to die and is causing the cloudiness? There are a couple of places where the staghorn looks a little different. See picture below, there are some white parts?

I use Seachem Flourish Excel & Seachem Flourish Comprehensive and get no clouding from it.

I dose every other day with Excel and once a week with Comprehensive.

Stop using Excel for a few days & see if it clears.

I had the same issue I think. When my stag horn started to whiten and die off, bits of dead algae were suspended in the water column making the water look cloudy, but it was definitely the dead algae in suspension
