hi i have 6 cory's 2 off them are Bronze Corys im told they may eat my neon tetra's as they grow bigger
is this true.

I highly doubt it, corys are very peaceful and generally stay on the bottom of the tanks.
Unless anyone's had an experience with fish-eating bronzies?

Don't know where you heard that but I have always read that they make great tank mates. Corys are extremely docile and passive fish. I have bronze corys in my 70 litre tank and peppered corys in my 125 litre, both with tetras and they are great. Another plus is that they both like similar water conditions as in temperature and ph as I believe they are both from rivers in South America originally.

Just chuckling at mine at the moment actually. The corys are snuffling around in the sand looking for food and a couple of the neons are hovering over them watching curiously. lol

I do not know about Bronze Corys as I have none but I very much doubt it.

I Have Panda Cory and they are very friendly fish :good: I think who ever told you that may have there species mixed up with something else.

Regards onebto.

HA! No!!! They are the best fish ever! I have 6 bronze corys(soon to be 10) and they are amazing! They just mind their own business and flirt with each other.

Whoever told you that should not be trusted to know anything about fish Orion. I have never seen a cory harm anything at all that swims. They are know to sometimes eat eggs and similar things that never move but not live fish.
