Assuming so… I had forgotten that I had put 2 black Cory’s in the bottom 10 gallon holding tank, with black substrate… a heavy coating of algae on the sides and ( really, since I never saw them, I assumed they had long died ) I’ve not been seeing a lot of scuds, but assumed they were there… still been feeding them…
Well today I replaced one of my woven lucky bamboo towers from another tank, where it was submerged, and put it in this tank, where it will be emergent… along with the scuds there are some mutt feeder guppies… well I put the tower in the tank, and something bigger moved… turns out I have 2 fat black Cory’s in that tank… guessing they have been feasting on scuds… I got one out right away… the other is going to be more challenging with the tower in there… but the surface algae had gone down, since I added the scuds… so this weekend, I’m going to try to get the other one out as well
