Hi All. Can Corys (e.g. Panda Corys) be kept in a community tank with Loaches (e.g. Yoyo Loaches)?

No, not really. Loaches are a lot more rough and tumble and boisterous than cories and soon learn they can shove them about.

The smaller loaches (kuhlis, dwarf chain, rosy) are ok, but not yoyos or zebras; at least IMO.

I keep cories and polka dot loaches together. No problems at all, but my loaches are not full grown yet.

Thanks Fluttermoth. Do you have any suggestions for suitable tank mates for yoyos?

Thanks greenmumma. What size are polka dot loaches expected to reach?

Was it yoyo loaches that had the habbit of eating cory eyes? I know some of the loaches are too "curious" that way and can't be kept with corys.
I keep clown loaches with my corys, but the clowns will get way too big for them.

polka dots get about 4-5 inches.
