Before we start my cory has been doing some really silly things, hitting the glass really hard. Flipping all over the place, Acting as if its gone mad. Two videos below.

my cory does go to the top of the aquarium and then to the bottom but not like that! mabye it's scared of something. do you have an aquarium light? mabye if u add light to the tank it will see it's suroundings more clear... otherwise... ya, it has a brain problem.

My tank light cycles 10 hours a day.

I take it that this isn't his usual behaviour. Have you had him long? How long has he been like this? Can you see any signs of physical trauma?

Had my corys for just over two weeks now I think, He's only just started doing this.

I tested my water today and noticed my PH has had a massive drop.

My tap water tends to be around 7.5 but my tank water is around 6ph?? I think thats what it is.

Yeh I'd agree with you there techen. Anything that could've caused the pH drop?

Am trying to work out what would cause a huge PH drop, Ammonia can cause PH to crash but am not sure.

Have you tested your tap pH after leaving it to stand for 24 hours? It may be that dissolved gasses in the tap water mean that the pH drops to its "true" state once in the tank for a day or so.

My cories have crazy moments where they shoot around the tank, but nothing like what is shown in your first video, nor for the length of the second one. Doesn't look like any illness I'm aware of. I guess you just have to leave him as he is and see what happens.

As a side note, 10 hours a day for lights is more than you need. If you have live plants then 6-8 hours should be plenty.

Thank you, I'll test again and leave it for a day but I've heard of corys doing this when the tanks PH crashes. I need to do small water changes to reset the ph or try too.

I know my light cycle is a tad high but yet to suffer from algae of any sorts lol.

Your fish is suffering from a bacterial infection, most commonly seen as pop eye, however on occasions the infection does not make the eye protrude but goes inwards making the fish loose all co-ordination and swim as if drunk. I would recomend a large wc and medicate with an antibacterial medication.

Why would he be the only one with a bacterial infection, Seems kinda odd?

Going to update this, I see a large white dot on his gill almost like it's poking out from it. Would this be it?

i agree with star4 completely, ive had fish with popeye before and they tend to go crazy! especialy when my gorami had it. get some medication from a pet store and isolate the ffish so it doesnt spread.

Yes but it's a parasite in the photo.
