Sorry he's in bad shape and I very much doubt he will make it.

Is that a red patch under his mouth area.

How many gallons is the tank.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.

Yes Red patch, 200+L,

I think it could be a internal Bacteria.

Will get results ASAP.

I took him up for some air, and now he is swimming a bit, keeping upright and nibbling on cucumber.

Im going to add some anti-biotics. He also has no barbs.(why)

Do you have sharp gravel!?
If he has no barbs it is rare they don't starve to death. It may also be an internal bacteria...

I hope he's well soon :/ :look:

Best of Luck,
Joe )

Do you mean that it is likely it will starve?

I had 4 Corys for about 5months and they were all fine, but when i added 4more this happened.

I would only use antbiotics in issolation as they wipe the benefical bacteria out in the filter.

The cory has septicemia. hard to cure once it progresses.

Sharp gravel can wear the barbels down. Need rounded gravel or sand.
Barbels can disappear with a bacterial infection.

Let us know how he gets on bless him.

Fish died early yesterday. Treated the tank with some meds, but not anti-biotics.

........

It didn't look hopeful by the pic bless him.

R.I.P.
